Remember My Pill

Data we collect

Medicines and doses are health data, so here is everything the app and this website handle, in plain words. The full rules are in theprivacy policy.

The short version: everything you enter stays on your phone, in an encrypted database. Signing in is optional and adds a backup. Nothing is used for ads, analytics or training AI.

What, where, when and why

DataLivesLeaves your phoneWhy
Medicines, schedules and dosesYour phoneOnly with an account, as an encrypted backup to our servers; to a family member's phone only if you set that upTo ring the alarms and show what to take
The people you care for (names, routines)Your phoneSame as aboveEach person's own medicines and day
Health logs (blood pressure, water, symptoms…)Your phoneSame as aboveYour own record and the report for a doctor

What never happens to it

  • Sold, or used for ads
  • Sent to analytics or tracking services
  • Sent to AI, unless you ask and agree first
  • Read by us: backups are stored as the app sends them, and we open an account only to answer your request
  • Your location, contacts, photos (beyond the one you scan) or anything else on your phone

Permissions the app asks for

PermissionFor
Notifications and alarmsRinging at each dose time, refill reminders, and the family link's pushes
CameraScanning a prescription or a box; the photo is deleted as soon as it's read
PhotosPicking a prescription photo you already took

Your control

  • Export everything as a file: Settings › Privacy & data.
  • Delete your health logs, everything on the phone, or your account and its backup, from Settings. Deleting the account deletes it all at once.
  • Turn off crash reports in Settings › Privacy & data, and medicine names on the lock screen in Settings › Alarms.
  • Stop sharing a family link from either phone.
